April 17, 2012 was a milestone for the DG (distributed generation) sector. After all, on this date, the ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) published the REN 482 (Normative Resolution No. 482/2012), whose objective was to create clearer rules and facilitate access to DG in Brazil.

This April, the Solar GD is celebrating 10 years of existence. The modality has already generated over 420 thousand jobs and attracted more than 74 billion reais in new investments.

In commemoration of this date, the Canal Solar prepared a special web series in 4 episodes showing everything from the process of preparing the regulatory framework to the sanctioning of 14.300 Law.

In this first episode, we will show the first system connected to the Brazilian grid, the references for the creation of REN 482 and the main challenges faced throughout the entire process of preparing the text. Check out:
