The first half of 2024 ed 6,5 GWp of accumulated contracted volume in tracker and fixed structure in projects of Remote GD. The amount exceeded the investment of R$ 26 billion.
The numbers are from new strategic study of greener, “Remote GD Ranking, fixed structure and tracker”, which featured the participation of 17 companies, being nine tracker manufacturers and eight fixed structure manufacturers.
Os criteria for evaluation were: identification of the project (plant), location of the project, Remote DG plants (greater than or equal to 500 MWp).
Furthermore, the survey was based on volumes delivered up to June 30, 2024 and the volume not delivered, but with a contract signed for the same period.
The history of 6,52 GWp of contracted volume is distributed in more than 1,9 thousand plants spread across about 900 Brazilian cities.
O study mapped 349 portfolios. Of these, 329 have 3,1 GWp, showing that the market is fragmented. The others twenty portfolios are portfolios greater than 100 MWp. These companies together hold 52% of the market, which corresponds to 3,4 GWp.
Finally, the research revealed that the total volume of contracts with tracker and fixed structure was 1.161 MWp for Remote DG in the period studied. The trackers have accumulated 841 MWp, as for the fixed structures, they participated with 323 MWp.
