The board of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) recommended to the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy) the extension of the energy concession contracts and the extension of four distribution concession contracts. The agreements were also forwarded the draft for additional , in addition to the anticipation of their effects.

The decisions were unanimous – only the director Fernando Mosna presented divergent grounds, but followed the recommendations of the rapporteur, Agnes Aragão da Costa, and the other directors. The same situation occurred for Companhia Energética de Pernambuco (Neoenergia Pernambuco).

The extensions of concessions of Equatorial Maranhão Energy Distributor and Piratininga Power and Light Company were also recommended (FL Piratininga), but both with the draft of the fifth amendment attached to the process. All processes had oral arguments from representatives of the respective companies, in addition to Ricardo Brandão, from Abradee (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Distributors).
