O Brazil already created more than one thousand 30 empregos in the solar energy earlier this year, according to information obtained by the Canal Solar based on data from ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association).

Since 2012, the photovoltaic source was already responsible for opening more than one thousand 750 new work stations in all regions of the country, of which 330 thousand were realized only in 2022.

According to a Ronaldo Koloszuk, chairman of the board of directors of ABSOLAR, number of hires carried out by the sector in Brazil is significant and it only increases every year.

"Until the end of this year, the perspectives are that the sector will have generated more than 1 million jobs in Brazil since 2012, distributed among all productive links in the sector and in all regions of the country”, he projected.

Still according to the executive, investments accumulated at the source since 2012 should sur, in December this year, the mark of R$ 170,9 billion, with at least R$ 53,8 billion in public tax collection.

Currently, solar energy has brought Brazil just over R$125 billion in investments and more than R$39 billion in tax collection for public coffers.

The source has also been responsible for preventing more than 33,4 million tons of carbon dioxide from being emitted into the Brazilian atmosphere over the last 11 years.
