A 8th edition of CBGD (Brazilian Congress of Distributed Generation), which took place in Belo Horizonte (MG) last week, it brought together several market players and handled more than R$500 million in business, according to data from FRG Media & Events Group, the company organizing the event.

Tiago Fraga, CEO of the company, explains that the meeting featured a series of news in relation to renewable sources, with emphasis on the GD (distributed generation), energy storage and the production of hydrogen renewable.

“The event was created in 2016, when we were still starting out in the sector. Since then, this trajectory has been built and today we have had more than 20 events held in the last seven years. All of them, focused on renewable energy and with a huge focus on solar energy”, he said.

The professional also commented that the results obtained during the congress show that the photovoltaic sector national will continue to be one of the main drivers of the growth of renewable sources in the country.

“We went through a year, somewhat complicated by a change in law, by a series of factors that resulted in more business being done, jobs being created and that is why sharing knowledge, bringing relevant information will help the market to prosper even more. in your business” analyzed Fraga.
