The largest country in South America that diversifies its energy production into renewables, Brazil, has taken measures to promote the sustainable market. Companies like Sebrae and Brazil- Cooperation, for example, announced programs and scholarships for the clean energy sector.
With Sebrae For Startups, the Brazilian institution, in partnership with Troposlab, is promoting the “Jequitibá” program, which aims to accelerate startups with solutions for climate change and other sustainability topics.
The program will increase the representation of the 20 selected startups, providing a mentoring network, in-person and online events, in addition to a series of benefits that involve networking with references in the segment, presented through the company.
Registrations can be made from November 11th to December 11th, through the program website, free of charge. The participation criteria is to be a “green startup”, resident in the state of São Paulo and operating in segments related to climate, forests, agribusiness, renewable energy, clean industry, air and the environment.
Partnership between universities in and Brazil finances study
Brazil-German Cooperation has been working for decades in the national territory, and is currently promoting the campaign “German-Brazilian Cooperation in Research in the Energy Sector – NoPa 2.0”.
The initiative involves financing up to four scholarships worth 109.200 euros for Brazilian and German specialists with research focused on green hydrogen, direct electrification and energy storage.
Registration was until November 28th, but the nominees will be announced in a virtual meeting on December 22nd.
