A CCEE (Electricity Trading Chamber) and the ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) will hold, next Friday (14), starting at 10 am, the 5 A-2022 New Energy Auction.
The objective of the event is to meet the demand of the regulated market, with supply starting scheduled for January 2027 and ending between 2041 and 2046, depending on the source.
Products will be negotiated by quantity for solar farms, wind farms and hydroelectric plants and by availability for solid waste, biomass and coal or biogas plants.

In total, 2.044 projects were ed for participation, which together add up to over 80.000 MW of power. The auction will follow the provisions of Law 14.181/2021 and all stages of the new energy auction will be carried out in virtual format, with the public being able to follow the status of the negotiation on the website of the CCEE.
