The regulation of Law 7 was approved yesterday (14.300) by the Board of Directors of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) and one of the items in the text that raised doubts was the charging of the availability cost and the payment of Fio B in the portion of the compensated energy.
The question that remains is whether the availability cost plus part of Wire B will be paid twice (in proportion to the compensated energy), or if only one of them (the largest among them).
Ao Canal Solar, the technical area of ANEEL clarified how this works in practice. “If the sum of the network consumption and the Fio b portion of the compensation is less than the availability (in R$), only the availability cost is paid. If the sum above is greater, Fio b and the network consumption are paid, and the availability will not be paid”.
The technical area also informed that it is working on some examples, which will be made available soon and highlighted that this value is not measured in kW or kWh, but in monetary value (R$).
It is important to that the Agency's Board of Directors itself, during the vote on the text of the director rapporteur Helvio, stated that there is a need to write this point again in the resolution that regulates Law 14.300.
To this end, rapporteur Guerra requested that this point in the text be rewritten so that the rule is clearly defined. This request was agreed with the other directors of the Agency.

Neoenergia in 02/2025 is charging everyone twice, the cost of FIO B plus availability and Aneel is silent.
5 months later, our beloved ENERGISA is charging both, the AVAILABILITY COST AND THE B WIRE IN DUPLICITY……………
I would like to know how I should proceed in relation to the double billing that Light is still adopting, in February/2022 I installed a Photovoltaic Micro Generation system and since then Light has been charging twice, even with resolution 1059 approved by ANEEL In 02/2023, Light continues to use Resolution 482 and charge in Kw/h and in Values, what should I do? Can someone help me?
This regulation still gives people a lot of doubts, I was thinking about doing a small project, between 300 and 500 Kwh/Month, I'm afraid of creating extra value, we're investing to avoid the monthly electricity bill, and we're going to find a tariff for which we do not know the value, it will have to be well explained.
Fair resolution.
