EDP ​​ES residential consumers will see an increase of 3,83% in their electricity bill

A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved this Monday (1) the annual tariff adjustment of EDP Espírito Santo Distribuição de Energia. 

The new tariffs will come into force for the distributor on August 7, 2023 for approximately 1,7 million electricity consuming units in 70 municipalities in the State.

With approval, residential consumers – B1 served by the company had a 3,83% increase in their electricity bill; low voltage customers have a percentage of 4,80%; and high voltage consumers had the smallest increase, which was 0,46%.

According to ANEEL, “the factors that had the greatest impact were the reduction in distribution and energy purchase costs, as well as the financial components”.
