Photovoltaic inverter manufacturer Growatt has announced the new MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV series. The devices are configured with a maximum output power of 125 kW, which is the highest power of the string inverter with multiple MPPTs at the 400Vac level.

According to Talyson Alves, Marketing Manager at Growatt, the product has a maximum DC input current reaching 32A for each MPPT and 16A for each string.

“The new MAX inverter combines well with high-power and bifacial modules. Its 10 MPP trackers connection of a maximum of 20 strings, which significantly reduces power loss caused by shadow effect and module incompatibility.”

According to information from the company, this new model s a DC/AC ratio of up to 150% to obtain a LCOE lower for photovoltaic plants.

With its wide MPPT working range from 180V to 1000V, the inverter can work early in the morning and shut down in the late afternoon, achieving a longer operating time and capturing much more solar energy.

With safety in mind, Growatt has stepped it up with SPD Type II on both DC and AC sides, fuseless design, integrated DC switch, IP66 protection, as well as optional active arc protection (AFCI) and integrated PID recovery to provide complete protection for the inverter and even the entire photovoltaic system. “Like other Growatt products, Max already has 500MW of shipments, being a sales success”, declared Alves.

“Growatt provides a wide range of smart photovoltaic solutions for residential, commercial and industrial solar plants and in large power plants. Growatt's smart chain photovoltaic inverters, with capacities ranging from 0,75 kW to 253 kW, together with the online monitoring platform (OSS) achieve higher yields and provide superior security and a much more cost-effective solution for customers ”, he added.

According to the company, the new center in Paraná will have a range of services, such as a call center, technical assistance for repairs, stock and replacement, as well as a dock. “There are 800 m² of usable area and we will also generate new jobs. In total, there will be more than 20 people ing the Maringá team”, said the executive.
