The Northeast region of Brazil broke the record for instantaneous generation on two consecutive days, according to the ONS (National Electric System Operator).
Last Monday (10), instantaneous generation reached 1.257 MW at 14:08 p.m. At the time of the record, the energy generated from the Sun was enough to supply 10,1% of the region's load. The amount corresponded to 92,2% of the total generation capacity of the solar power plants.
On Tuesday (11), an instantaneous generation of 1.325 MW was recorded at 12:14 p.m., representing a capacity factor of 97,1% and a share of the Northeast's load of 11,4%. The previous record was recorded on January 16, when 1.232 MW were generated.
