O government do Paraná announced o Solar School program, that will provide R$6 million for installation de photovoltaic plantswithout colleges.
According to the government, the project combines saving resources with electrical energy and sustainability in educational institutions. And the installed photovoltaic plants will have a power of 75 kW.
The choice of companies that will carry out the work will be made through the bidding notice, divided into two lots, which must be published on August 18th by Paranaeducation, linked to Seed (Secretary of State for Education).
The first 20 schools chosen were selected according to the amount of energy consumption of each one, and the solar incidence in the region.
By carrying out this project, educational institutions will be able to meet their consumption needs, in addition to making any surplus available to the network, which can be offset against the energy bill.
