Over 400 thousand inverters sold in the country, Sofa expanded its facilities and recently opened a repair center in the city of Jacareí, interior of São Paulo. The project has a structure of approximately 2 thousand square meters, equipped to guarantee the maximum efficiency in after-sales service.

The new center was strategically planned to meet the growing demand for fast and efficient repairs, minimizing customer downtime and ensuring that photovoltaic systems return to operation as quickly as possible.

“The objective of the Sofar repair center is to increase the global volume of warranty inverters available to fans of the brand,” he explained Eduardo Fróes, Country Manager at Sofar Brasil.

“This new strategy aims to strengthen the current after-sales policy, which already maintains an advanced warranty stock in the main distribution partners. This is what we call an 'express' guarantee, that is, once the guarantee is approved, the customer will be able to receive the inverter from either the distributor's stock or Sofar's stock, whichever is faster to complete the process”, he highlighted.

Second Márcio Santos, responsible for sales at Sofar in Brazil, a key point of the project is the agility in inverter repairs when requested by the distribution partner or end customer, thanks to the local stock of components.

Emerson Costa, technical service engineer at Sofar in Brazil, commented on the expansion of the technical team working in the new center. “The increase in technical staff will certainly increase efficiency, from tasks such as repairing inverters to logistical dispatch of them”

“We are adapting to be environmentally friendly, disposing of inverters piece by piece. Aluminum, copper, iron and plates will be allocated appropriately”, concluded Costa.

According to the company, this initiative reflects Sofar's commitment to providing a high-quality service, expanding the manufacturer's service capacity and strengthening its presence in the Brazilian market, standing out for its product innovation and customer .
