Os resources will be released under the New Padis ( Program for the Technological Development of the Semiconductor Industry), which deals with tax incentives for the electronic components and semiconductor industries and on the protection of intellectual property for integrated circuit topographies.

“We included it in the New Padis, which will invest R$1 billion next year in reducing the tax burden for the semiconductor and solar energy areas. So, the government is making R$1 billion available to help the semiconductor and solar energy chain,” said Alckmin.
