With an investment estimated at R$140 million, the companies A2 Empreendimentos and Solarmine plan to implement 11 photovoltaic parks in municipalities in the Triângulo Mineiro until 2026.

Each project will have 3,5 MW of installed power, totaling 38,5 MW of capacity. The expectation is to generate 340 direct jobs. The energy to be produced must be sufficient to meet the demand for 38 thousand homes with an average consumption of 150 kilowatts per month

According to the project schedule, the parks in the municipalities of Prata, Ituiutaba, Capinópolis and Paracatu will be delivered by December this year. In Uberaba, delivery is scheduled for July 2025, and in Conceição das Alagoas, for July 2026.

“The Triângulo Project is modern and will contribute to the zero carbon target, boosting a more sustainable and ecologically responsible economy”, said José Afonso Queiroz, director of A2 Empreendimentos, adding that companies should soon announce new investments in Minas General.

“The objective of this project is to promote sustainable development in Minas Gerais through the generation and commercialization of solar energy. The project will generate jobs and boost local economic development, in addition to establishing partnerships for training and technological innovation in the energy sector”, said the CEO of Invest Minas, João Paulo Braga.
