Which are the distributors Who else approved solar energy systems in Brazil? According to a survey carried out by the Canal Solar, based on information provided by the platform data of Sunny, three companies are fired, those containing the largest numbers. 

Together, These companies have near 469,6 thousand of the 1,43 million photovoltaic systems installed currently in homes, facades and small and medium-sized plots of land in Brazil. This volume represents almost a third of the total (32,4%) of units connected to the grid.

With more than 212 thousand units inspected and approved, the dealership cemig (Minas Gerais Energy Company) is the one with the highest number of approved projects. NSubsequently, two concessionaires of the FL Energia group appear: RGE South (154,6 thousand) and the FL Paulista (103 thousand).

Currently, the three leading energy distributors in the number of photovoltaic projects approved in the distributed micro and mini generation segment serve 1.389 of the 5.570 Brazilian municipalities, around 25% of the total. 

In total, Cemig is present in 774 municipalities in Minas Gerais, being responsible for the energy supply of 96% of the state. The company operates in the areas of generation, transmission, distribution and sale of electrical energy and distribution of natural gas. 

RGE SUL, in turn, is responsible for covering around 65% of the electrical energy consumed throughout the territory of Rio Grande do Sul, with three million customers served in 381 municipalities. 

FL Paulista is present in 234 municipalities and has more than 4,7 million customers, most of them in the interior of São Paulo, in populous municipalities with high purchasing power, such as Campinas, Ribeirão Preto, Bauru and São José of Rio Preto. Check out the ranking below, based on data from Suney:
