A ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation) announced the launch of the campaign “There is Tension”. The announcement was made during the Southeast GD Forum, with the aim of promoting safety in photovoltaic systems.

With Nationwide, the project proposes informative content for consumers and renewable energy professionals. Through a platform, they will have access to reports, podcasts and interviews with experts.

“Ha Tensão” complements other ABGD initiatives focused on security in the DG (distributed generation) sector. In 2022, the association launched the PSQ (Quality Sector Program), managed by the Totum Institute, which evaluates solar energy devices and equipment in order to attest to efficiency and safety.

According to the president of ABGD, Guilherme Chrispim, GD has shown great growth. “In 2022, distributed generation practically doubled in power,” he states.

“In view of this growth, it is important to raise awareness among the population about the importance of taking the necessary care, from installation to maintenance of photovoltaic systems”, highlights Chrispim.

According to ABGD, together with its associated companies, the entity aims to development of an environmentally and socially responsible sector, offering greater security for the population.
