ABSOLAR celebrates its tenth anniversary with dinner and show with industry agents

A ABSOLAR (Brazilian Photovoltaic Solar Energy Association) will gather, in day 23 November, at the Tokyo Marine Hall, in São Paulo (SP), agents do solar sector in the country to um dinner and show by Jorge Ben Jor to celebrate os ten years da entity.

The event, which hosts fintech Meu Financiamento Solar, is aimed at businesspeople, entrepreneurs, consultants, authorities and other professionals linked to the Brazilian photovoltaic sector.

At the ceremony, the ABSOLAR will launch the online book “The King of Energy”, which tells the story of the entity over the last decade and the development of the solar energy market in this period, reporting on the main milestones, achievements and challenges in the sector.

According to ABSOLAR, the book tells the story of the entity's decade-long work. In addition, the work reports how the photovoltaic source became the second largest Brazilian electricity matrix, with expectations that it will reach the top before 2050. The book has the of the sponsoring companies Lightsource bp, JA Solar and Amara NZero.

At dinner and show, the ABSOLAR It will also honor and reward companies and people who have been and are part of the history and evolution of the association in Brazil.

“The growth and evolution of the Brazilian photovoltaic solar sector and of the ABSOLAR are directly linked to the dedicated work of people and companies that have elevated solar energy to a prominent position in Brazil. Therefore, we want to celebrate with all the agents who have contributed and continue to contribute to this successful trajectory”, comments Ronaldo Koloszuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ABSOLAR.  

“A ABSOLAR, even though it may still be considered young for the horizon of the national electricity sector, it has been decisive for the evolution of the photovoltaic market in the country, since the beginning of its wider adoption by society”, adds Rodrigo Sauaia, CEO of ABSOLAR.
