The new INMETRO ordinance on AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) establishes technical and safety requirements for the use of arc fault interruption devices in electrical systems, with the aim of preventing fires and other risks related to short circuits.
Manufacturers and distributors are organizing themselves to comply with this standard, updating and modifying their equipment, adjusting their internal procedures, training teams and preparing their stocks with equipment that complies with the new INMETRO guidelines.
This Tuesday (15), the Canal Solar promotes the live “AFCI: how distributors are adapting to the new INMETRO ordinance” with the participation of engineer Jeferson Fanelli Meneguite, Product Coordinator and Technical Manager at Descarbonize.
