AIKO presented its modules with ABC (All Back ) N-Type technology at Intersolar South America, held in São Paulo (SP). With high conversion efficiency, the s attracted the attention of a global audience and industry experts.

The product line included the “Stellar” series for the GC (centralized generation) market, the “Comet” series for C&I (commercial and industrial) applications, and the “Neostar” series for residential use, meeting the diverse needs of customers.

Among the highlights was also the “Infinite” module, which has a conversion efficiency of 25,2% – thus setting a new standard in the solar energy market.

According to the company, ABC cells have the positive and negative s on the back of the cell, allowing the front to be free of grid lines. This maximizes the use of incident light, reduces optical losses and increases the effective power generation area, resulting in higher conversion efficiency.

As a result, AIKO's ABC N-Type s achieved an efficiency of 24,2%, ranking first on TaiyangNews' global commercial module production efficiency list for 18 consecutive months and recently included in the BloombergNEF Tier 1 Solar Module Maker List.

“Under identical dimensions, ABC N-Type modules outperform TOPCon by 6-10% in energy production. Combined with optimized energy production under shading, better temperature coefficient (-0,26%/℃) and lower degradation (≤ 1% in the first year, ≤ 0,35% annual degradation from year 2-30), ABC modules create higher electricity yields for customers in various scenarios,” the manufacturer highlighted.

According to the company, All Back s also excel in high temperature suppression and micro-crack resistance, ensuring safer and more reliable performance of power plants throughout their life cycles.

Partnerships signed

During the event, AIKO signed a frame distribution agreement with RB Solar, committing to supply 60 MW of high-efficiency ABC s next year. In addition, it signed module supply MoUs with Aevo Solar and GS Solar.

“Brazil has immense solar potential and we are delighted to establish strong partnerships with key local partners,” said Jing Liu, Regional Sales Director of AIKO LATAM.

“Together, we will introduce advanced ABC N-Type products to Brazilian markets, deliver maximum value to customers and contribute to Brazil’s clean energy transition,” he concluded.
