One of the community who received one of the solar energy kits was Aguinaldo Ribeiro, owner of a guesthouse in the RDS (Sustainable Development Reserve) Uatumã, who before solar s depended on the use of generators for energy.

“We are very happy to receive this kit, which will bring income and savings to us. Furthermore, the solar does not make noise like the generator, and will no longer disturb tourists,” he said.
