The board of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, in its ordinary meeting held on Tuesday (20), four annual tariff adjustments. The most striking process was that of Cemig Distribuição S/A, which will come into effect on the 28th. The average effect to be felt by consumers will be 7,78%, being 9,45% for high voltage and 7,03% for low voltage. The decision was taken unanimously.
The board also unanimously approved the adjustment for Amazonas Energia – which will produce an average effect of 1,35%, with 0,77% for high voltage and -2,20% for low voltage. It will come into effect next Monday (26). The rapporteur for these two processes was director Agnes Aragão. Agnes was also the dissenting vote on the adjustment for FL Santa Cruz, which was approved by a majority.
The new tariff will come into effect as of this Thursday (22). The average effect will be 2,62% overall (2,61% for high and 2,62% for low voltage). The formation of a regulatory liability of R$ 100 million was also recognized, to be reversed in the concessionaire's next tariff process.
The rapporteur defended the approval of a readjustment that would produce an average effect of -3,44%. She was ed by director Ludimila Silva. However, director Fernando Mosna's vote-view was ed by Ricardo Tili and the Agency's director-general, Sandoval Feitosa.

The rates of Sulgipe (Companhia Sul Sergipana de Eletricidade) were also adjusted, which will produce an average effect of 1,35%, with 0,38% for consumers connected to high voltage and 1,61% for low voltage. The increase will come into effect this Thursday (22). It was the only adjustment reported by Tili, who participated in his last meeting as a member of the Agency's leadership. In his farewell speech, he recalled that he reported 1.432 cases during this period, of which 1.390 have already been deliberated. “I am leaving only 42 cases to the offices of the other directors, of which 37 are still being investigated in the technical areas,” he celebrated.

In addition to the four approved tariff adjustments, the electricity bills for consumers served by EDP Espírito Santo may also increase starting August 7th of this year, the date scheduled for the distributor's annual tariff adjustment. The proposal – which foresees an adjustment of up to 11,65% – has already been approved by the company's board of directors.
