A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) published this Wednesday (31) the Broadcast Auction notice no. 1/2023 and confirmed the holding the contest to June 30 at the headquarters of B3 in São Paulo (SP).

Swill be tendered nine lots with concessions for construction and maintenance of 6.184 km  de transmission lines and 400 MVA in substation transformation capacity, with forecast R$15,7 billion in investments. 

Os 33 ventures provided for in the nine lots have a deadline for completion of works in 36 to 66 months in the states of Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Sergipe. 

The signed contracts will be valid for 30 years and provide for the creation of 29,3 thousand new jobs. The points in edict were evaluated in public consultation, carried out by ANEEL between December 1, 2022 and January 16, 2023. 

Of the nine available lots, two cover energy contracts from photovoltaic projects. They are numbers 1 and 9.

The first covers the expansion of the transmission system in the south of the northeast region and in the north of the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo, while the ninth foresees the expansion of the system in the northwest region of São Paulo.
