A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, this Monday (15), in an extraordinary meeting, the restructuring of CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber).

One of the main changes it's in the command of the organization, which will now consist of a general assembly, a board of directors, a board of directors and a supervisory board.

As a result of this, rules for the composition and functioning of each instance were established.

A CCEE restructuring was improved after Public Consultation () nº 05/2024, which received contributions from 19 institutions between February 29th and March 18th.

The Agency's board of directors decided that the issues proposed during the Public Consultation period related to human and cultural diversity in the composition of the board of directors will be defined in the Chamber's statutes.

Additionally, issues relating to the transition rule for the new CCEE organization were incorporated. For example, the consumer category was created as an agent of the Chamber and the class of free consumer agents was replaced by the class of retail agents.

The Agency's board decided that the issues proposed during the period will be defined in the Chamber's statutes. It was also decided that there will be an increase in CCEE's responsibilities.
