In 2024, UFV Beira Rio was inaugurated, located in Presidente Epitácio (SP), with an installed capacity of 5 MW and an investment of R$ 35 million. The project uses ARaymond's PowAR Cinch ® fixing clips, developed for fixed and tracker ground structures.
Rafael Ávila, manager for the Energy segment at ARaymond Brasil, highlighted that the clips are validated and accredited by laboratories after carrying out tests with the largest module manufacturers, making these solutions unique and exclusive in the solar sector.
“They are anti-theft, and they perform fixing and grounding in a single click. On average, it takes just 30 seconds to fix a module with three people, enabling the installation of 1 MWp in four days, also with three people,” explained Ávila.
According to him, one of the great advantages of PowAR Cinch ® is that it does not require the use of special tools such as an electric screwdriver and torque wrench, only a nylon hammer is needed to fix the plates.
Furthermore, the product eliminates the need for periodic torque maintenance every six months or one year, depending on the frequency defined by the project. “After fixing the modules with ARaymond solutions, no type of maintenance is required throughout the useful life of the installation”, he highlighted.
Another interesting feature of PowAR Cinch ® is the possibility of fixing the s from the bottom, eliminating the need for ladders and scaffolding, and preventing installers from having to walk on the s, which can cause irreparable damage.
“UFV Beira Rio exemplifies how the use of ARaymond PowAR Cinch ® clips can optimize the installation and maintenance of solar plants, ensuring efficiency, safety and durability. These innovations are essential for the sustainable growth of the solar energy market in Brazil, providing practical and economical solutions to the challenges faced by the systems”, concluded the manager.
