During the months of October and November this year, Astronergy held its first global tour of its facilities in China. The Astronergy Factory Tour 2024 welcomed more than 100 participants from over 20 countries, on a trip that showcased the company’s cutting-edge technology and introduced guests to local culture.

The tour lasted a week, and the guests were divided into two groups, following an agenda tailored to their main interests. The general schedule included visits to silicon and ingot factories in Xining, the capital of Qinghai Province; camel rides up Mingsha Mountain; the Mogao Grottoes; Astronergy’s module factory in Haining; as well as the company’s offices and meetings with senior management.

Additionally, there was a boat trip across Hangzhou's famous West Lake, where participants watched a light and theater show that told the story of several Chinese dynasties.

For Eduardo Gama, Head of Sales LATAM for the manufacturer, creating experiences like this is essential to show the magnitude of Astronergy in the global solar energy market. “Our facilities reflect the quality of our products. Our factory is impressive, and all of our processes are carried out with great precision. It is a pleasure to come here with our customers and partners and present all of this. We are very proud.”

“Astronergy’s experience in China was simply incredible. What impressed me most was the quality of manufacturing at all stages of the construction of photovoltaic modules,” highlighted Gustavo Tegon, Institutional Director of BelEnergy.

“The investments made by the company, the high-level and high-performance equipment, the data intelligence and, most importantly, the people who make up the team show the real reasons for Astronergy’s growth in Brazil,” the executive emphasized. During the tour, the company and the manufacturer renewed their distribution contract until 2025.

Filipe Souza, Generation Manager at Kroma Energia, also highlighted the high level of automation and efficiency in the factories. “The Astronergy Factory Tour was a great opportunity to deepen our knowledge of manufacturing processes and technological innovations, from silicon production to formation. Furthermore, it was an important moment to strengthen the partnership with Astronergy and other industry leaders who were also present,” he concluded.
