A-1, A-2 and A-3 auctions confirmed for December 6

The board of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, this Tuesday (22), the notice for the existing energy auctions A-1, A-2 and A-3 of 2024, which are scheduled to take place on December 6 of this year. 

The auctions are organized by CCEE (Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber), and aim to contract electrical energy from existing generation projects, from any source.

The auctions will be held sequentially, starting with auction A-1, followed by A-2 and ending with A-3. The operation will be conducted through an online platform.

The supply period provided for in the contracts will be two years, starting on January 1, 2025 for Auction A-1; January 1, 2026 for A-2; and January 1, 2027 for A-3. The approval of the notice by the ANEEL occurred after a public consultation phase, where 55 contributions from society were received through Public Consultation No. 16/2024.

Pricing

  • A-1: Product Quantity: R$ 200,00 / MWh;
  • A-2: Product Quantity: R$ 170,00 / MWh;
  • A-3: Product Quantity: R$ 140,00 / MWh.
