Research da CNI (National Confederation of Industry) pointed out that 54% of Brazilian industries are interested in adopting solar generation as a source of energy for the next two years.

In this scenario, the Belenus Group, which operates in the production of fasteners, hardware, tools for civil construction and solar energy, installed a solar plant on the roof of the factory, located in Vinhedo (SP).

Os investments for the installation of the enterprise they were around R$3 to R$4 million. A expectation is that the the project come into operation in second half of this year.

The plant has 2.232 modules 550 W installed, totaling 1.227 MW of installed power and is being installed by the Solarprime franchise network.

Os modules are installed on the factory roof in an area of about 5,8 thousand square meters. “As it was a plant installed on the company's roof and not a ground system, there was no need to carry out earthworks and foundation of the land with pillars ing the structure to fix the modules”, pointed out João Marcos Lucas, the Group's CEO Belenus.

"This is a great option for industries in general, that can take advantage of the structure of the warehouses themselves and obtain considerable savings in investments in the infrastructure of solar plants”, he concluded.

With the installation of the solar plant, the forecast will be monthly generation of approximately 150.422 kWh. All the energy generated by the solar plant will be used to meet part of the consumption of the group's new building.

O waiting group have capital gains in the future, after the installation of the new solar plant and a savings on energy bills of approximately 30%.

“We at solarprime we are responsible for delivering a the project that would provide saving e financial gains for Bethlehem, which will now have its own energy generation, no longer needing to resort to the free market”, highlighted Mário Campo Grande, CEO of Solarprime.

energy storage

The solar plant is equipped with on-grid and hybrid inverters, as well as a battery bank. They are 1 MW of inverter power on grid and seven more hybrids.

Due to the fact of plant have a part of equipment on grid and another of hybrid equipment, when energy from the concessionary network or the free market is not used, all loads connected to the hybrid inverters will be powered by battery banks.

"Therefore, priority loads will remain operational even if there is a problem with drop in energy of the distribution network”, adds Rodrigo Almeida, head of engineering at Solarprime and responsible for installing the solar plant.

  1. Hello, I would like to receive some guidance, I am planning to work with solar energy, generate solar energy, I am going to find clients to work in this branch of solar square installation, if you have all this material from the beginning to the finish, and do it in how many installments, and do you have Engineers who do all the projects, and the forwarding to the Energy Concessionaire.

    1. What state do you intend to operate in?
We prepare projects and supply equipment and materials.
