The importer and distributor Bluesun, second company in the ranking by the Greener survey, is already larger in revenue and number of employees than its former commercial ally, Bluesun China.
The partnership between the two began in 2012, the year in which the first contract was signed between Bluesun China, the reason why the company adopted the name Bluesun do Brasil.
Due to the incompatibility between markets, in 2015, previously Bluesun do Brasil decided not to renew its contract with the Chinese and became completely independent, becoming a multi-brand distributor.
According to engineer Roberto Marcel Caurim, CEO and one of the founding partners, this was the starting point for a successful journey. “We even thought about changing the name of the company, however, in a market that was quite immature at the time, we decided to the Bluesun brand, as we were already well known. And so, it remained until today and it was a great success”, says Caurim.
Today, with distribution units in several regions of Brazil, its own transport company, more than 200 direct employees, around 25 thousand integrators ed on its budget platform and on the way to suring the barrier of 400 Franchisees, the company expects revenue for 2022 of R$1 billion.
Also according to Bluesun, the company is consolidating itself in the market as one of the giants in the distribution of photovoltaic equipment in Brazil. “We started in 2012 with a capital of less than R$40 thousand, times were different. Today, it would be impossible as distributors are already entering the market with values in the millions”, highlights Caurim.
“With the large portion of our own investment and 100% national capital, we are proud and reassured that we have very low debt, we have a financial plan that tends to zero within this year. We have our own headquarters and an excellent financial structure, with an internal and external controlling team”, says the executive.
The company also highlights that it identified the need to professionalize the management of the company's resources with collegiate decisions, to mitigate errors and with advisors from various areas of the process. “Whenever we make important decisions we have a tax lawyer, ing, CFO and Controllership at the table. All of Bluesun’s profits are reinvested in the company, which is why it grows with its own financial structure”, explains Caurim.
Engineer Ricardo Mansour, co-owner of the company and also one of the founders, analyzes the distributor's financial preservation. “All this financial security is reflected in the trust that our integrators and franchisees place in us, entrusting their sales to Bluesun”.
Mansour also says that one of the biggest fears for the integrator is appointing a distributor and it not honoring the delivery and that this scenario has been recurring in Brazil. For this reason, he says that in the future, the company will have its own financing, “Bluesun Serviços Financeiro, which will be another advantage and security for our integrators and franchisees”, concludes the executive.
