In the last five years, the Banco do Nordeste accomplished more than 24,7 thousand credit operations e made available about R$2 billion to finance solar energy projects in the segment of GD (distributed generation).

This is one post that represented Over this five-year period, on average, around BRL 400 million per year so that consumers could invest in renewable sources through the program FNE Sol.

A financing line includes products such as photovoltaic modules, inverters, electrical components and materials, with pre-fixed interest rates and offered from 7,9% per year.  

With 292 branches, BNB is present in more than two thousand municipalities in its area of ​​operation, which covers the nine northeastern states and part of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. 

The financial institution's main source of resources is the FNE (Constitutional Financing Fund of the Northeast), which is why, according to the bank, it would be possible to offer attractive payment conditions.

How to request financing at BNB?

To request financing from BNB you need to access this link and click on the “request your credit” option in the top right corner of the screen. 

By doing this, it is possible to send the credit request digitally, in which the request is analyzed by the customer's own agency. 

After the initial qualification, the customer will receive by email a list of documents necessary to analyze their financing request.

Documents must be sent using the “Update credit request/Send documentation” option. 

Who can apply?

Private industrial, agro-industrial, commercial and service companies, as well as rural producers and individuals, can request financing from FNE Sol. 

For the rural sector, interest and payment bonuses are in accordance with the provisions of National Monetary Council Resolution No. 5.026, while for other sectors it is in accordance with National Monetary Council Resolution No. 5.013.

The limit of resources to be released depends on the customer's size, location and guarantees, with a maximum financing limit of R$100 for micro and mini generators.
