BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) has launched a new credit program that will offer around R$330 million to finance projects energy efficiency in Brazil.
FGEnergia (Credit Guarantee Program for Energy Efficiency) aims to promote projects that increase energy efficiency (with reduced energy consumption) and renewable energy generation, such as solar and wind energy.
According to BNDES, the new program can be applied to cover the bank's transfer lines or the accredited bank partner's own lines. "Its use does not consume the partner bank's limit with BNDES," the institution highlights.
