Between January and May 2025 alone, DG (distributed generation) photovoltaic systems installed by companies in the industrial sector added around 1 GW of power in Brazil, according to a survey carried out by TTS Energia, based on data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

During this period, more than 57 thousand new corporate consumer units began to benefit from solar energy on their roofs or small plots of land, totaling almost 400 thousand installations in operation in the corporate segment.

Since the beginning of its expansion in Brazil, solar DG has already sured the R$63 billion mark in investments in the production sector, with 13,8 GW of installed power throughout the national territory. According to the survey, around 1 million corporate properties are now supplied by solar energy.

For Jacques Hulshof, CEO of TTS Energia, the growing use of technology among companies strengthens the leading role of industry and the private sector in the so-called ESG Agenda.

TTS Energia itself, according to the executive, leads one of the largest projects in Brazilian industry: 11,3 thousand photovoltaic modules and 6,4 MWp installed at Jacto's manufacturing unit, located in the municipality of Pompéia (SP), focused exclusively on self-generation of energy.
