Banco BV leads financing of PV equipment, points out Greener

Research shows that around 21% of companies had at least one financing provided by the bank

O BV bank appears, for the fourth consecutive time, in first place in the Strategic Study of Distributed Generation da greener, in the categories “financed solar energy sales"and "companies that used photovoltaic energy financing lines".

O BV was ahead of 57 financial institutions in the financed sales category. The research shows that around 21% of companies had at least one financing provided by the bank.

The second item in which BV appears in the lead, which had 13 other companies mentioned, shows that 22% of respondents chose the bank as the institution to finance solar energy.

“It is very important for us to be in the lead in this Greener research. The result reflects the work we have been doing in recent years, which is to make people aware that the use of solar energy is available to everyone. Just plan,” said Mariana Granata, Solar Superintendent at BV bank.

Another survey, carried out by BV in 2022, indicated that almost 70% of Brazilian consumers have already thought about having solar energy in their homes, which shows, in the institution's view, that there is demand for investments in the area, which is already the second matrix energy in the country since last year.

“Our strategy of diversifying the portfolio and expanding investments, including in the solar energy sector, has been yielding good financial results. The financing line for solar s was R$4,6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022, an increase of 85% compared to the same period last year”, they emphasized.
