Canadian Solar is starting to operate as of today in the direct sale of photovoltaic systems in Brazil. The change allows integrators, distributors, resellers and construction companies to purchase equipment directly from the manufacturer.
The decision was made after a period of listening and analyzing the market. According to the company, many of these companies showed interest in having more direct with manufacturers, both to facilitate access to quality equipment and to obtain technical information and during projects.
“These companies want to better understand the products, ask questions, and have closer with the manufacturers. That’s what we heard,” explains Carlos Ribeiro, Associate Director of Canadian Solar in South America.
With the new model, Canadian now offers its products through a digital platform, available throughout the country. The tool brings together modules, investors, batteries and complete systems, as well as information such as availability, prices and commercial conditions.
The system was created to make the day-to-day life of those who work with solar energy easier. Through the platform, professionals can assemble their photovoltaic generator, view the total cost, compare options and place an order.
The company will also have regional sales teams to serve each region of the country more directly, answering questions, following up projects and ing decision-making.
In addition to the new sales platform, Canadian recently launched CSI PLUS, a training environment aimed at installers and integrators. There, professionals have access to technical courses, and certification to work with the brand's equipment.
“All content is in Portuguese and was designed to serve those who are already in the market and want to update themselves or those who are starting out in the area,” highlighted the manufacturer in a note.
