Climatempo promotes webinar on global warming

Event will discuss the impact of the phenomenon on the Brazilian economy and its consequences for the future

Climatempo will promote the webinar “Climatempo Sustainability Summit: Global warming and extreme weather events in Brazil” on Wednesday of next week (30), at 19pm. The event will be the first of three free conferences, held online by the meteorological services company.

The meeting aims to discuss the impact of global warming on the Brazilian economy and present solutions that could be taken by society to reverse the consequences of the phenomenon.

The webinar will host speakers Márcio Astrini, environmentalist and executive secretary of the Climate Observatory; Paulo Artaxo, professor and researcher at the USP Physics Institute (University of São Paulo); Gilca Palma, director of Products and R&D at Climatempo in Brazil, and Soren Andersen, CEO of StormGeo.
