Concessionaire announces auction to purchase solar energy

Santo Antônio Energia will hold the event on May 18th, with delivery to the Southeast/Central-West submarket

Santo Antônio Energia, the concessionaire responsible for the implementation and operation of the Santo Antônio Hydroelectric Plant, announced that it will promote an electronic auction for the purchase of long-term energy, from any region of the country, on May 18th this year.

The event, with delivery in the Southeast/Central-West submarket, is intended to supply the ACL (Free Contracting Environment).

According to the concessionaire, the auction provides for the purchase of incentivized energy from new or pre-existing projects using solar and wind sources, with injected power less than or equal to 50 MW over a period of 15 years, between 2024 and 2038.

How to participate?

Companies that have generation projects under development, already implemented or in operation can participate, with authorization from the Granting Authority to operate in the CCEE (Electric Energy Commercialization Chamber), in the modalities of energy supplier, generator, independent producer and self-producer.

Registration can be done until April 20th, at 18 pm. Click here to access the website and check more information.
