A Dah Solar announced a new growth cycle in Brazil and plans to strengthen its presence in the national market. The company, which has been operating with its own team in the country since 2023, is in ways to open a branch in Campinas (SP) and is just waiting for the final steps to issue the CNPJ, which is expected to be completed by the end of November.

A The expectation is to close in 2024 with around 1 GWh of energy, the equivalent of 1,46 million modules supplied throughout the national territory. This number will represent a record for the company, suring the 820 thousand s sold in 2023. In the first quarter of this year alone, exports to Brazil reached 881 thousand units.

According to the company, the positive results reflect efforts to maintain global expansion, achieving 100% of the sustainability, social responsibility and governance (ESG) policy targets. 

The company's 2023 ESG Report highlighted that the photovoltaic modules sold last year were capable of generating 6 GWh of energy per year, contributing to a reduction of 5,48 tons of carbon, which is equivalent to planting more than 300 million trees.

The document also revealed that the manufacturer will continue investing in technological innovation and industrial modernization, aiming to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. 

“Global energy development has entered a new phase, and the transition to clean, efficient and diversified energy is accelerating,” said William Xie, Chairman of DAH Solar. “As a leader in the photovoltaic industry, our company is committed to ensuring the efficient use of solar energy.”

At the same time, the company has gradually established and improved its ESG-based work system, establishing a standardized three-level governance structure, covering Decision Making, Management and Executive. The process also includes several actions aimed at developing employees, who are considered the most important foundation of the company.
