Deputies can vote today (22) on the urgent request for PL 2703/2022

Agenda was approved with the inclusion of the urgency requirement of Celso Russomano's proposal

Two weeks after being filed with the Chamber of Deputies, the request requesting urgent processing of PL 2703/2022 is on the agenda this Tuesday (22).

The consideration and vote on the application is awaited by consumers who generate their own energy and by professionals who work in the Brazilian photovoltaic market.

This is because, if the request is approved, the proposal authored by deputy Celso Russomanno gains a sense of urgency and will dispense with some regulatory formalities.

ing that PL 2703/2022 aims to extend the deadline for the entry of the new energy compensation rules defined in Law 14.300 – rules that became popularly known as “sun taxation”.
