Efrain Cruz is the new rapporteur director of the review process of Normative Resolution 482 of the ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency). The selection, made by lottery, was made on Monday (23). The decision was announced on social media by the vice president of Distributed Generation at ABSOLAR, Barbara Rubim.

Efrain, who is a lawyer and specialist in energy law, took office as director in August 2018 and his mandate runs until August 2022. Before taking over as director of Aneel, he held two directorships in the Eletrobrás group: management director of Distribuidora de Rondônia and Acre.

During his career at Eletrobrás de Rondônia, he served as interim CEO and operations director, attorney for the presidency, advisor to the president and advisor to the management board. He was a full consultant member of the Special Energy Commission of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/DF) in 2015 and 2016.
