Electy, a digital clean energy platform, has partnered with Natura to connect 260 consultants and business leaders of the brand – including the Avon network – to renewable energy sources in the states of Ceará, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais. According to the companies, the initiative combines savings and sustainability, allowing these women to significantly reduce their electricity bills without additional costs, construction or equipment installation.

Electy operates in the market of GD (distributed generation), bringing the benefits of solar energy to its subscribers. Its marketplace offers access to credits generated by solar plants already connected to the electricity grid, no need for installation by the consumer. In addition to the financial advantages, the partnership also promotes the empowerment of consultants, by inserting them as protagonists of the energy transition in the country.

“This project is a clear example of how we can transform socio-environmental challenges into real opportunities for impact. We help our network reduce day-to-day expenses and, at the same time, reinforce our commitment to the planet,” said Diana Guimarães, Natura’s senior manager of Sustainability and Socio-Environmental Innovation, in a press release.

For Paula Klajnberg, CEO and co-founder of Electy, democratizing access to clean energy is essential for a energy transition fair and inclusive in Brazil. “With this partnership, we were able to expand this impact, helping thousands of women to save and contribute to a more sustainable future,” she says.

A Electy operates in 21 states and the Federal District, connecting consumers directly to more than 30 distributors and solar plants. The company claims to have already generated more than R$12 million in savings for its customers.
