The Brazilian electricity sector is undergoing a period of transformation, with more technologies and new regulations. Therefore, Energyear Brazil 2025 brings together experts and companies to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the segment in the country.

The fifth edition takes place on February 5th and 6th at the Sheraton São Paulo WTC Hotel, located in the city of São Paulo (SP). The first day will feature debates on energy transition and technological innovations.

In addition, the event will bring up topics such as CAPEX optimization in photovoltaic projects, electrical system stability, new trends and O&M (Operation and Maintenance).

On the second day, the role of the state in the energy transition, energy storage projects and how to ensure financial success will be discussed, as well as wind energy, the Free Energy Market, expansion of DG (Distributed Generation), new DG installations and diversification of the energy matrix.

Energy storage in the spotlight

In the last year, energy storage systems have gained prominence as a solution to balance supply and demand. Ivan Ledesma, CEO of Energyear, emphasized that in this edition of the event participants can expect important insights into the segment.

“Without a doubt, the main focus will be placed on energy storage, a fundamental technology to make solar projects in Brazil more profitable,” added the executive.
