In June, the EPE (Energy research company) will open a public competition to fill 90 effective vacancies for the positions of lawyer, corporate management analyst, energy research analyst, distributed across 24 areas of activity. 

EPE is an energy planning body linked to the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy), responsible for prepare studies to energy and transmission line auctions, among other activities related to the oil and gas sectors. 

One of the innovations to be introduced in this competition is knowledge in big data, data science and artificial intelligence.

The objective is to deliver a new layer of efficiency for processes in the energy field and to gain value in the delivery of products and publications. 

“The objective and discursive tests will be held in the cities of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brasília (DF), Recife (PE) and Florianópolis (SC). Successful candidates for higher-level positions will receive a basic salary of R$13.819,45, in addition to benefits and advantages in force on the date of ission”, says the EPE statement. 

A selection of candidates for the gas and biofuels area will take place separatelya, making the selection process more specific and targeted. 

“It is also worth highlighting the expansion of the Corporate Management area, essential for the good functioning and strategic development of EPE in view of the increase in staff and new activities”, highlights EPE.
