A roundtable discussion bringing together representatives from Brazil, Zambia, Ghana and the United States will be held this Saturday (22), at 14 pm, to discuss the impacts of the climate emergency on countries in the Global South, with an emphasis on the black population. The event will feature simultaneous translation.
To discuss the Afro-diasporic climate response, psychologist Patrícia Cardoso and economist Luan Thambo, in partnership with Coletivo Criação and with the of the NGO CRIOLA, are promoting a chat as part of the 21 Days of Climate Change Campaign. Activism Against Racism.
In addition, the debate highlights black youth, bringing together activists such as Samilly Valadares, from Brazil; Patricia Longwani, from Zambia; Serwaa Akoto Bawua, from Ghana; and Creryl Kwapong, from the United States.
