A ExpoSolar Colombia, will be carried out by eighth time in 2024. The fair is entirely focused on solar energy and takes place at the Plaza Mayor Medellín International Convention and Exhibition Center, 16 the 18 October.
The fair seeks to enable business between the solar sector in Latin America and in the Caribbean connecting manufacturers, distributors, traders, installers, investors, banks, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Companies), service providers and other of the value chain.
Furthermore, the event aims to encourage solar energy implementation in industry, commerce, countryside and residences promoting energy transition, decarbonization of the planet and sustainable development.
By June 2024, the Colombia reaches 1,3 GW of renewable energy in commercial operation, being 593 MW in large scale generation centrally dispatched; 519 MW in large scale generation not centrally dispatched; 11,7 MW of distributed generation; 68 MW in large-scale self-generation e 142 MW in small-scale self-generation, according to the Being Colombia - Renewable Energy Association.
The event will feature more 380 exhibitors em 17.500 m², presenting new solutions scientific and technological; Business roundtable, international congress about solar energy using lithium batteries; to solar farm display which generates part of the energy consumed by the event, speed networking, workshop photovoltaic and cultural activities.
For the general public, there will be display of solar systems residential, electric mobility, led lightning solar surveillance cameras solar, heaters water solar s, pumping water solar, irrigation systems e electric fences solar, besides appliances, such as air conditioning, fans, radios and solar lanterns.
35 countries will be present at ExpoSolar Colombia 2024, being 16 from Latin America and the Caribbean, with the debut of Aruba, Belize and the Republic of South Africa.
