Fire destroys solar energy company's warehouse

Um fire destroyed a deposit of a solar energy company in the rural area of Janauba (MG) on the night of this Thursday (10). The fire reached the metal structure of the warehouse which was covered with plastic tarpaulin. 

There were no injuries during the incident, but the material damage was significant, with various electronic equipment, files, uniforms and electrical wiring being completely destroyed by the flames, according to information from Fire Department

Os work lasted about three hours and 10 water trucks were mobilized to contain the flames. In total, there were more than 40 thousand liters of water used during the firefighters' operation. 

After the flames were controlled, the following was done: local cooling throwing water over embers to prevent a new fire from starting and also to protect nearby vegetation.

According to the Fire Department, the causes of the fire are still unknown and will be investigated by the competent authorities.
