Ends at 23:59 pm this Friday (23), deadline for sending contributions about the problems caused by the rejection of micro and minigeneration projects distributed by flow reversal.

O theme is included in Consultation 003/2024 – which aims to regulate the 14.620 Law, which deals with the resumption of the program Minha Casa, Minha Vida. Check out the draft resolution here.

O normative has been open since February 8th from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) so that society can send suggestions to the previous regulatory text, proposed for analysis.

O deadline of 15 days for sending contributions, an exception to the Agency's practice of 45 consecutive days, due to the urgency to begin public policy actions.

A measure directly concerns the solar energy sector not only due to the issue of flow reversal, but also because the scope of the text contemplates how the process of installation of solar systems in units of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Program.

Flow reversal

Since regulation of Law 14.300/2022, ANEEL has received a series of questions from companies and associations in the photovoltaic sector about the performance of electricity distributors.

As stated in the text, the concessionaires are obliged to carry out studies and propose solutions to its customers when a request for a new connection or an increase in power injected from a DG (distributed generation) system implies the flow reversal

However, What has been seen is the non-compliance with this determination. Many distributors reject projects, but do not inform the consumer about the reasons that justify this decision, resulting in a lack of transparency that prevents them from making the necessary corrections to generate their own energy.
