Fox ESS has announced the launch of the Q Series microinverter line. With power outputs of up to 2.500W, the equipment is arriving on the national market with a strategic difference: by connecting three units, it is possible to reach 7,5 kW – a limit that falls within the fast track classification, ensuring simplified technical approval by energy distributors.
Currently, the company already has a microinverter that s connection with two s, but the new feature of the Q Series is the connection with four photovoltaic modules. According to manufacturer, the biggest difference between both devices is Wi-Fi communication.
In the context of the Brazilian solar market, products with fast track certification are those that cannot have their approval denied by the concessionaire due to flow inversion, according to REN ANEEL 1.098, of 23.07.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX.
In addition, the new model meets the requirements of Inmetro Ordinance No. 140/2022, as well as the compatibility standards with low-voltage connection standards. This allows integrators to use Q Series microinverters in projects with greater agility in release by concessionaires, avoiding delays and rework in equipment analysis.
“The fast track approval positions the Q Series as a complete and strategic solution for integrators operating in highly competitive environments and with tight deadlines. It is a powerful combination of technology, practicality and regulatory security,” said Robson Meira, Country Manager of Fox ESS Brazil.
Below are the technical highlights of the Q Series:
- Available models: Q1-1600-E, Q1-2000-E, Q1-2400-E and Q1-2500-E (exclusive to Brazil);
- Maximum efficiency of 99,8%, with individual MPPT tracking for each input;
- Four independent inputs, compatible with high-power modules, with their 20 A capacity;
- Low starting voltage (32 V) and wide operating range (23,5 V to 60 V);
- IP67 protection, resistant to dust and water, ideal for outdoor environments;
- Smart monitoring via FoxCloud 2.0, with Wi-Fi Mesh and Bluetooth connectivity;
- Plug and play installation, with integrated protections and compatibility with MC4 connectors.
In addition to its robust technical performance, the Q Series stands out for its versatility in application in small to medium-sized residential and commercial projects. The models were developed to facilitate installation and remote monitoring of the system, offering full control to the integrator and consumer through the FoxCloud 2.0 app or portal.
According to company, inclusion in the fast track program represents a significant operational gain for professionals in the sector, as it eliminates the risk of denied access due to flow reversal in the approval process for grid-connected photovoltaic projects. With this, Q Series products are now eligible for direct registration on the platforms of the main energy distributors in Brazil.
