Brazil ed more than 20 thousand companies migrating to the Free Energy Market between January and October this year. The value is almost triple the volume ed in the same period last year, according to data from CCEE (Electric Energy Trading Chamber). 

According to ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), the expectation is that the segment will continue to grow in the coming months due to the expected migrations: 36 thousand new consumers expected by 2025, of which 95% are smaller.

As a result, many companies in the sector have sought partners interested in operating in the Free Energy Market. One of them is Athena Energia, which operates in the electricity sector, creating solutions to meet customer demand for renewable sources in segments related to industry, commerce, education and hospitality. 

The company announced this week that it is looking for new business partners with a focus on eight states, namely Bahia, Pernambuco, Paraná, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, in addition to the Federal District.

Some of the company's main clients include companies such as Truckvan, Coco do Vale, Frango Formoso, Shopping Boa Vista, Pan Cristal, The British Country Club, Itam and Biachini Supermercados.  

Gabriel Barreto, executive director of Athena Energia, highlights that partnerships focused on the segment are crucial for strengthening not only the company, but also for a business environment where operational efficiency and cost reduction are fundamental for sustainability.
