To distributor Genyx and EngeAmazon, a company specializing in projects and consultancy in the national electricity sector, announced the inauguration of a CD (distribution center) for products aimed at installing photovoltaic systems in Acre.

The agreement will allow companies to serve the local market with prompt delivery. According to the companies, the new space, measuring 200 square meters, will enable a reduction in delivery time of up to 92%, from 25 days to 48 hours.

“Acre’s distance from the country’s major urban centers, especially São Paulo and Minas Gerais, where products aimed at the solar system are manufactured, makes the delivery of equipment and consequently the installation of the system longer”, points out Bruno Catta Preta , director of Institutional Relations at Genyx.

According to Catta Preta, with the distribution center, EngeAmazon will speed up the process, favoring the local market and the potential that the state has in generating sustainable energy.

Solar energy in Acre

Until August of this year, Acre was the state with smallest distributed generation of solar energy in Brazil, with a current installed capacity of 62 MW of power, according to ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency).

“If we compare with large urban centers, we have always been a few years behind in the installation process. It's natural, then, that we're still in our infancy now, which denotes the enormous potential we have ahead of us. I bet that in the medium term, around three years, Acre will be operating with a lot of installed power capacity. The partnership aims to optimize and speed up this process”, explains Edlailson Pimentel, CEO of EngeAmazon.

In the state, the consultancy holds 20% of the market, working on more than 1300 projects including residential, rural and industrial.
