The 1st Forum on Governance and Sustainability in the Energy Sector, held by IIA Brasil (Brazilian Institute of Internal Auditors), will take place on March 26 in Rio de Janeiro.

The event seeks to bring together leaders from the energy sector, experts in internal auditing and corporate governance to discuss risk management, ESG, sanitation and regulation of the energy sector.

The forum is free and hybrid, at AQWA Carporte, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and broadcast live on the official IAA channel on YouTube

Participants will include Bras MJ Monterio, Executive Vice President of The Institute of Internal Auditors, who will address the topic “Managing ESG Risks and Compliance: The Role of Internal Audit”. The opening will be given by Aurelio Bustilho de Oliveira, CEO of Enel Américas S.A. and member of the Board of Directors of Enel Brasil S.A.

The s will discuss: “Sanitation: Challenges and Opportunities in Basic Sanitation Auditing”; “Electric Energy: Challenges, Innovations and Sustainability” and “Corporate Governance: Practices and Challenges in Successful Companies”.

In addition, Percival Gratti Junior from Aegea; Renata Gomes Ubaldo Machado Vasconcelos from COPASA – MG; Dennis Telles from ONS; Eugenio Belinchon Enel Américas SA; Fernando Macedo from Eletrobras; Savio Jannuzzi from Neoenergia; Paulo Roberto Gomes from ENBPar; Renato Trisciuzzi from FLAI and Ricardo Lemos from IBGC have been confirmed.
